"I've got plenty to be thankful for" Bing Crosby

Our first married Thanksgiving was so special! We spent most of the week doing one of our favorite things...showing people around America's Finest City! This time, we had 5 family members to host and we had such a wonderful time.

To recap, I will make a list of things I was especially thankful for last week:

1) Family! I don't have a picture with all of us, so this will have to do. So thankful for a healthy, loving family!

2) Resuable shopping bags. Shallow, I know, but these were the biggest lifesavers on Thanksgiving Day! We transported tons of groceries and other items to our friend's house, where we had our Thanksgiving meal.

3) Pecan pie and Pioneer Woman

4) Amazing friends! We just moved into a tiny shoebox, making it really difficult to fit more than 4 people in our apartment, let alone 7 people around the same table. Knowing this, our friends Ryan and Julie offered up their home for us while they were out of town. This made it possible to have a normal Thanksgiving meal. Plus, it was really fun playing "house"!

5) San Diego! Although it was a colder-than-I'd-like week out here, we had some amazing sunshine and were able to show our family some of the things that make us love living out here...like sailing!

I am especially thankful for a loving God who has blessed me beyond measure and for a husband who has helped make the past 10 months of our life together such an adventure!
